Brett approached me months before he planned on proposing to Bridget and knew he wanted a photographer for this special moment. After the planning and the texts back and forth to finalize the moment, the time finally came. I was stationed at the top of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building in Salt Lake and his family was waiting behind a fountain in one of the foyers with huge signs saying "Will You Marry Me Bridget."
Bridget's videographer friend was there as well, ready to capture the moment. When Brett and Bridget came up the elevators and down to the foyer, Bridget noticed her friend and started talking to him, asking him about what video he was shooting. She thought she was in the middle of his production and then realized that he was there for her! Surprised as can be, Brett then pulls her to the side and gets down on one knee, asking her to marry him. It was one of the sweetest things I have ever seen!
